The first stop was to visit the famous "The House of Waterford" . There was a tour to show us how they make the crystal and then following with some shopping opportunities to purchase their products. We saw some beautiful crystals and some of the listed prices are pretty high.
Then we drove to O’Loughlin Gaels GAA Club in Kilkenny to learn about the sport of hurling. After a short explanation of the sport, they offered us a hands-on learning experience by going to the field with hurling sticks and balls and to try it. It was exciting with good instructions and trying a new sports.
Then we arrived Kilkenny Castle for some free time. We did purchase additional entrance tickets to visit the castle to see the interior. Their gardens are very impressive and they also have a huge green lawn adjacent to the castle.
After we got back to Waterford, we went to revisit the Viking Triangle for more photos, then we went to dinner ourselves at McLeary’s near waterfront of River Suir.
