First stop was an Sheep Auction place near Maam Cross. Then we arrived the Kylemore Castle in Connemara. It was a very windy and raining day. We were determined to visit this beautiful castle even in a windy and rainy day. The only problem was we did not have our raincoat and had umbrella. The strong wind did not help, it even broke our umbrella. Therefore, we were only able to visit the interior of the castle and could not enjoy their beautiful gardens and surrounding. Truly, the weather plays a very important part of a successful and enjoyable sightseeing.
Due to the distance of our hotel in Galway, we joined the optional tour of Dinning in a Castle - Dunguaire Castle. There were food, drink and show. However, we felt it was a tourist trap. Nothing special and it was a waster of money.
